Kristie was an extraordinary young woman who was very active and successful in her charity work in The beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts. She was born with Cerebral Palsy and she was known for facing and overcoming many of the obstacles presented by her disability. She graduated from Pittsfield High school with high honors. She participated in United Cerebral Palsy telethons, sold Easter rabbits for the Lions Club, collected soda tabs for the Ronald MacDonald House and the Shriners Hospital, and raised money for The March of Dimes, and the Pediatric Development Center. She truly was a charitable person who gave of herself to help others and charitable organizations.
She enjoyed speaking at various schools about living with disabilities and encouraged others to ask her questions. She was known for her quick-witted sense of humor, rich vocabulary, and for always having the last word. Her favorite color was purple and she loved spending time with her family. She was loved by all who met her and inspired many. She was a fan of Teen Smudge Magazine and sent in a submission about her soda tab collection work.
